Current Converters Measure RMS Value

Dec. 1, 1999

Handling input current ranges of 0A to 1A and 0A to 5A, these current converters measure the RMS value of inputs such as alternating current, random interference, pure sinewave, sawtooth and triangular waveforms, and more. Signal frequencies are dc to 600 Hz. The multi-function converters eliminate the need for many single function current converters. They measure 22.5 mm for DIN rail mounting. An external DIP switch lets designers select from six output voltages and five output currents. Multi-turn pots are mounted on the unit's front to provide easy adjustment for gain and offset. Plug-in terminals permit fast converter exchange without rewiring. The units operate on 24 to 48 vdc or 110 to 230 vac, 50/60 Hz.
