Extrusions Attach To And Cool Electrolytic Capacitors

May 1, 1999

Designed to attach to electrolytic capacitors without using sheet metal clamps, Cap Coolers are two-piece extrusions for use in helping cool the capacitors. They include standard clamping hole patterns, eliminating the need for a separate clamp. Part No. 210200B01150 is 1.5" high and Part No. 210200B1300 is 3" high, with the devices acting both as heatsinks and mounting clips in natural or forced convection cooling applications. They can extend the life of capacitors and, therefore, increase overall system reliability.
