Controller Handles Both GPIB- And USB-Based Instruments

May 1, 2002

Combining a GPIB controller and USB hub in a single, 7'' x 7'' x 1.5'' case, the Model 1105 plug-and-play peripheral is designed to provide control of both GPIB- and USB-based instruments. The GPIB controller converts any PC with an USB interface to a full-function IEEE 488.2 bus controller, while the USB hub provides six powered ports that can be used to expand USB bus systems and drive other USB devices or USB-based instruments. The 1105 is compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP OSs and can be rack-mounted in a 1U high space or used as a stand-alone benchtop unit. Pricing starts at $650 each/1-4.
