Tact Switches Make Data Input Easier

Jan. 1, 1999

A light, 70g (±20g) operating force makes for easy actuating of the B3M mechanical key switches. A long stroke of 0.85 mm and positive click signaling the momentary switch action also improve operability. The switches' rated service life of 2 million actuations ensures years of reliable performance.Other specifications include: switching capacity of 12 vdc at 50 mA (resistive load); single-pole, single-throw, normally open contacts; and bounce time of 5 ms maximum. The switches are designed for use in input devices such as computer mice, joysticks and reset buttons on keypads.
