Temperature Probes Match Sensing and Switching Needs

Sept. 1, 2002

A new series of standard and custom NTC, PTC and bimetallic temperature probe assemblies can be configured to meet customer design, space and application requirements. These temperature probe assemblies offer options of custom housing for surface, tube, pipe, air-stream and through-hole mounting. Capable of integrating multiple functions such as temperature, flow and salinity into a single probe assembly, the sensors and switches configure for use with air or liquids in a variety of environments. Available with stainless steel, ABS, Teflon or PVC housings, the assemblies sense air temperatures up to 250°C, depending on the sensing element and material of construction. Pricing is from $2.97 each. ATCOM, Atlantic Components, Woburn, MA. (800) 433-6600.
