Software Guides Users To Circuit Protectors

Aug. 1, 1998

Created specifically for OEM designers selecting fuse protection for power conversion circuits, the Power Semiconductor Protection Solutions Software (PS)2 allows users to quickly choose the best circuit protection solution for their application from dozens of viable options. Users simply point, click and enter the critical variables identified by the software and within minutes multiple solutions appear. The program also provides a detailed analysis of the fuse in the circuit. The software gives rapid, detailed solutions to power semiconductor protection problems presented in Windows 3.1/95/NT and provides recommended fusing under a variety of circuit conditions, including common converter, electrochemical converter, ac controller, and inverter circuits, as well as access to extensive data on firm's semiconductor fuses.
