Designed for the analysis and design of electromagnetic and thermal devices, Flux2D is a FEM-based package equipped with all the features expected in a power CAD program such as magnetic, electric and thermal fields, static transient and steady-state analysis, parameterized analysis, magnetic/dielectric/thermal couplings, external circuit connections, and electromechanical coupling. Version 7.3 has added improvements such as parameterized mesh generation, new models of materials, new post-processing capabilities, improved circuit components definition and assignment, and new circuit components, including diodes, thyristors and uni-directional switches.
