Touch-Screens Are Visible In Direct Sunlight

Jan. 1, 2001

Claimed to be unaffected by direct sunshine, the SunTouch touch-screens with high-bright LCD panels feature a brightness level up to 1,000 nits. With or without a polarizing light filter, the screens are said to be clearly visible even in the brightest sunlight. They contain neither electronic circuitry nor a membrane overlay, making them less susceptible to damage. In addition, the screens are completely sealable and suitable for high-pressure wash down.
