Coax Cable Assemblies Seek High-Speed Apps

June 1, 2001

Accommodating high-speed data transfers with low bit error, the Blue Ribbon line of controlled impedance, ribbonized micro-coax cable assemblies is terminated to Samtec QSE/QTE series connectors or AMP Mictor connectors. These 50 ohm ribbon coaxial cables achieve controlled impedance and high signal integrity in a low profile, high-density interconnection assembly.
They are available in lengths starting at 0.5m. Users can save time by using the interactive selection guide, called Blue Ribbon Solution Builder, at the company's website. The guide provides complete electrical and mechanical performance specifications, such as skew, risetime, insertion/return loss, crosstalk, propagation delay, and attenuation.
