Filter Fans Seek Cabinet Cooling Assignments

Nov. 1, 2000

This new series of shielded filter fans is designed primarily for electronic and electrical cabinet cooling applications where EMI/RFI radiation is of concern. But the 3149 Superflat EMI/RFI shielded filter fans can also be used for any non-shielded cabinet cooling needs. Some of the claimed benefits for the filtered fans include excellent attenuation, snap-in mounting, filter replacement without tools, high air flow and minimum noise level, all metal construction, and custom colors for the front grid, which projects out by only 0.20". The filter fans are available in 115 Vac, 230 Vac and 24 Vdc versions. Unimpeded air flow is 95 cfm. The units are UL, CE and GL approved.
