Upgrade Accelerates Power Electronics Analysis

Feb. 1, 2001

Designed for the analysis of power electronics, drive technology, mechatronics and other multi-physical domain problems, version 4.2 of the company's SIMPLORER software provides a variety of extensions and improvements. Simulation speed has been accelerated by approximately 30% over former versions. New modeling capabilities include free power electronic topologies, control algorithm libraries, direct implementation of differential equations for mechanical systems, extended block-diagram library, non-linear mechanical loads library, improved and accelerated electrical machine models, and FFT during the simulation process.
