Small Audio Transformer Meets Atmospheric Noise Spec

Nov. 1, 1999

With dimensions of 21.5 x 15.4 x 7.8 mm, SEF Series of audio transformers offers a frequency response rated at 0.25 dB in the range from 200 to 4000 Hz. Longitudinal balance is 60 dB over the range, and the transformer operates between -45 and 7 dB, which meets FCC specs under Regulation 15 for atmospheric noise. Primary impedance is 600 ohms at 1 kHz and secondary impedance range is 300 ohms to 900 ohms. The SEF-2CT offers dual secondaries of 300 ohms and 600 ohmswith return loss of 35 dB minimum at 1 kHz.
