Analog Buffer Is Compact And Cost Effective

April 1, 2001

Launched as the industry’s most compact device for eight-channel, high-speed analog and video buffering applications, the ZXFBF08 analog buffer comes in a 20-pin SOIC package. The internal design of this device is said to negate the possibility of thermal runaway. Features include a signal bandwidth of greater than 100 MHz, a 1 Vp-p bandwidth greater than 20 MHz, and a slew rate of 40 V/µs. Deriving operating power from a dual ±5V supply, power consumption is 1.9 mA for each channel.
A 16-channel version of this device is scheduled for introduction in the near future. Price for the ZXFBF08 is $2.35 each/1,000 with delivery time from four to six weeks.
