SMT Drop-In Circulators/Isolators Take On Cellular Tasks

March 1, 1999

The FR31 and FR32 Series three-port SMT circulators and isolators now include firm's "robust" lead approach, which is said to increase reliability and ease of handling during the manufacturing process. The devices are claimed as the only distributed-element ferrite circulators that are fully compatible with SMT processing and pick-and-place manufacturing equipment. They're designed to withstand the high temperatures related to solder flow manufacturing and are easy to handle. Typical applications include base stations and amplifiers for all telecom standards.
