Pressure Transducer Offers High Range

April 1, 1999

With one-piece, stainless-steel construction, the MSP-200 panel-mounted pressure transducer features microfused, micromachined, silicon strain-gage technology and provides reliable operation in hostile media for pressure ranges up to 5000 psi. The package completely eliminates the need for adapters that could leak in critical applications associated with intrinsically safe control panels, explosive-proof boxes, and ammonia-based refrigeration systems. These transducers have no O-rings, no welds, and no silicone oil-filled cavities. Full scale output is 0 to 100 mV using a 5 vdc supply. Accuracy is 0.5% full scale maximum with zero offset at ±3% of full scale and span tolerance of ±2% of full scale.
