Instrument Set Handles SDH/SONET Testing Assignments

Using advanced optics technology, ST2400A SDH/SONET Test Set is optimized for testing dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) client systems. The instrument is optimized for testing the transmission quality of 2.488-Gbit/s STM-16 (SDH) or OC-48 (SONET) networks transported over WDM systems. Minimizing test time, the instrument can test all channels of a DWDM system in parallel. One optical input signal is split multiple ways and the test operator deploys this setup with the necessary number of ST2400As at the receive end to let users save time without incurring the high costs of parallel testing.
