Tiny Piezoelectric Load Cell Delivers 1% Accuracy

Jan. 1, 1999

With an overall thickness of only 0.19" and weighing less than 1.5 oz., Model DLN ultra-thin compression load cell produces a voltage signal that is proportional to the dynamic forces being monitored. The output is unaffected by high static preloads that can occur during installation. Accuracy is 1%, and micro-inch deflection enables a 40 kHz frequency response. This rugged, stainless-steel unit operates from 20°F to 300°F and withstands dynamic overloads up to 200% of full scale.
