EBV Electronics Supports PMC-Sierra's Line Of ATM Products

Several new ATM products manufactured by PMC-Sierra will be offered by its North American franchised distributor EBV Electronics Inc., following PMC-Sierra's acquisition of Integrated Telecom Technology Inc. The new products offer a more complete ATM solution with the addition of ATM switching chipsets and ATM Segmentation-and-Reassembly (SAR) chips. EBV will focus its design support efforts on the PM73121 AAL1gator II, an AAL1 SAR processor; the PM73487 QRT, a 622-Mbit/s ATM Quad Routing Table; and the PM73488 QSE, a 5-Gbit/s ATM switch element. Other telecom products related to the acquisition will also be supported by EBV.
