Analyzers Test Power And Ground Circuits

Nov. 1, 1998

Identifying and locating loose connections, bad splices, damaged conductors, faulty receptacles and other high-resistance conditions that rob equipment of power and can cause fires is the job of the SureTest Model ST-1D analyzer, which tests power and ground circuits under a 15A load. The handheld unit also indicates wiring errors, false grounds, peak ground-neutral voltage, estimates peak neutral current to identify shared neutrals and confirm dedicated circuits. It also confirms isolated grounds and tests GFCI conformance to UL-943.
