Complementing firm's 75A and 100A Unigy I batteries, 12AVR-30, 12AVR-40 and 12AVR100-3ET absorbed valve-regulated (AVR) batteries are intended for telecommunications and UPS applications. The 3ET version provides convenient front terminal access for easy installation and maintenance. The 100A 3ET is rated at 8 hours and offers a compact footprint to maximize shelf space use. The 12AVR-30 and -40 offer a 20 hour capacity. The Unigy I AVR batteries are housed in flame-retardant, 12V monoblocks and can fit traditional racks and cabinets. Also, epoxy-sealed posts and recessed terminals are said to eliminate post leaks.
