Tunable Laser Packs Two Sources In One

The IQ-2600 Tunable Laser Source Module combines two sources in one to offer stable, continuous tunable high output power of 4 dBm from 1520 to 1570 nm and a non-polarized high output power ASE broadband source. The laser module is immune to vibration and offers a wide dynamic range greater than 65 dB sidemode suppression ratio. Inserting the output of the IQ-2600 TLS into the IQ-6100 EDFA module, a very high power tunable source producing more than 14 dBm can be created while still observing minimal optical signal-to-noise degradation.
