New Technology Extends Fan Life At Lower Cost

The company has introduced a line of fans based on a hydrodynamic wave oil-protection (Hypro) technology, which it claims lasts twice as long as sleeve-type fans and costs about 40% less than ball-bearing fans. The surface friction area between the shaft and the bearing is reduced thereby lowering bearing temperature. The bearing is made of an alloy that's said to be harder than bronze, giving the fan a longer life expectancy, lower noise figure, and allows for more stable performance at higher temperatures.
