Connector Provides Multipin Battery Charging Interconnect

May 1, 2000

This member of the D02 Series plastic circular connector provides two power contacts rated at 8A each and seven signal contacts rated at 2A each. The signal positions provide last-make, first-break sequencing for loop circuit power cutoffs. Signal positions can be used for functions such as sensing battery capacity. The shock-free plastic housing is a pushbutton type plug-to-receptacle latch. Crimp or solder cup termination is available for 22 to 26 and 16 to 20 AWG wires with ratings from 1A to 8A, continuous.
