Adapters Convert 80-Pin SCA Hard Drives To SCSI

May 1, 2000

This line of adapters transition SCA hard drives with 80-pin interfaces to various connector implementations. Several versions have active termination not offered on most Gen1 SCA Hard Drives. The adapters are designed to integrate SCA 80- to 68-pin non-LVD and LVD SCSI or SCA 80- to 50-pin narrow SCSI. They provide transitions between the SCSI device-to-cable interconnects of narrow (50-pin at 0.100" pitch), wide (68-pin at 0.050" pitch) and VHDC (68-pin at 0.8 mm pitch) applications. Adapters are available in straight, right-angle, and Z configurations.
