June 1, 2000

Claiming to allow web-enabled devices, including wireless devices, to access, manage and automatically process information irrespective of its location, Magi_Dav technology enables the interconnection of web-enabled devices and processes and allows them to operate as a coherent whole. The application is based on a global, open-source initiative for developers building and deploying internet-scale systems based on such standards as the Apache Web Server, web distributed authoring and versioning (WebDAV) protocol, XML, JAVA, and HTTP. For example, users of Microsoft Office 2000, which is WebDAV enabled, will be able to read, write and publish from any variety of locations.
