Low-Profile I/O Connector Targets Notebooks

Nov. 1, 2000

An extremely low-profile of 5.4 mm and a pitch of 1.0 mm make the new Series DMX connectors well suited for I/O interconnections for high-density notebook PCs, PDAs and GPS modems. Current rating for the connectors is 0.5A at 125V and contacts are the bellows types to resist distortion during mating and unmating. Temperature range is -55°C to +85°C. There are currently 26 circuits available with right-angle SMT mounting provided. Highly effective EMI shielding is also assured. The connectors are priced at $2.26 each/2,500.
