Overvoltage Protection Products Protect Telecom Equipment

March 1, 2001

Specially designed to provide protection for telecom equipment in instances where high voltages occur as a result of lightning strikes, power line crosses and a/c switching, the Totally Integrated Surge Protector (TISP) telecom over-voltage protection products limit over-voltages to a safe limit, allowing all current to pass through it and protecting electronics from harmful voltages. The products are available in single, dual, triple and quadruple configurations. Fixed voltage protection ranges from 72V to 400V, and programmable voltage protection ranges to less than 120V. There are more than 400 product types to choose from. Pricing ranges from $0.30 to $1.76 each/1,000.
