Hipot Tester Targets Mid-Range Mart

March 1, 2001

Offering features found in some of the company's higher priced instruments, the 3570D ac/dc hipot tester packs a built-in insulation resistance testing function. This is said to result in a mid-range priced instrument that covers the three most common safety tests: ac hipot, dc hipot and insulation resistance. The insulation resistance range covers voltages from 0 to 1 kVdc and a resistance range of 1 Mohm to 1 Gohm. Tests may be sequenced using set-up memories to include any of the three tests individually or in any combination so tests may run automatically. Safety approvals include IEC 1010, EN 61010, UL3111-1, and CE.
