Telecomm Transformer Seeks High-Speed ADSL Applications

March 1, 2001

Designated the SPT-2004, this telecomm transformer is specifically designed for high-speed access circuits and for use with Analog Devices' Admsp ADSL chip. The nominal primary impedance across the component's split winding is 100 ohm and its secondary is rated at 100 ohm. Specified for 0 mAdc, primary inductance is 25.4 mH minimum at 10 kHz. The longitudinal balance specification is 40 dB minimum at 1.1 MHz, and the dielectric strength is 1.25 kVac. Assembled on a six-pin, through-hole bobbin, the part has an overall size of 11 mm x 10 mm x 10.5 mm. Pricing in production quantities is $2.34 each.
