Bluetooth Analysis Software Debuts

April 1, 2001

Designed for use with the R3267 and R3273 spectrum analyzers, Option 66 Bluetooth analysis software enhances the general-purpose instruments by allowing them to perform automated tests for the Bluetooth protocol. The software provides an easy-to-use interface and a series of preset Bluetooth measurement routines and installs a variety of automated tests. These include occupied bandwidth, spectrum mask tests, and on/off ratio. The menu-driven interface with single-keystroke access is said to make it easy for users to get results, regardless of technical expertise. Once equipped with the option, the spectrum analyzers can perform all required Bluetooth radio frequency tests including demodulation tests. Starting price for the R3267 is $32,225, $37,435 for the R3273, and Option 66 upgrade software costs $3,550.
