SMP Adapter Enhances Blindmate Connectors

Offered as another building block in the companyÕs line of blindmate connectors, the SMP socket-to-socket (bullet) adapter is designed to tolerate a significant amount of misalignment. This includes both radial misalignment of up to 0.5 mm and axial type of up to 0.3 mm. Electrical properties of the adapter include an impedance of 50½, a frequency range from dc to 40 GHz, temperature range from -65¡C to 165¡C, and an insulation resistance of 5 G½ minimum.
