Accelerometer Measures Modal Responses

Nov. 1, 2000

Designed specifically to measure modal responses in three orthogonal axes simultaneously on lightweight structures, the Series 65 is a miniature tri-axial piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics. The device is adhesive-mounted and features high output sensitivity, high resolution, a frequency response of 1 to 6 kHz, and low impedance output. It is also designed to withstand extreme environments without sustaining internal damage.
A hermetic 4-pin receptacle mates with a standard 10-ft. cable and a single ground is connected to the mounting surface. Weighing just 5g, the device is packaged in a 10 mm, welded titanium case and costs $1,450.
