Boundary Scan Environment Adds Elctronic Design Browser

Feb. 1, 2001

Adding InterComm from OHIO Design Automation to the company's ScanWorks boundary scan test environment is said to make the application the industry's first IEEE 1149.1 JTAG test and in-system programming environment with an electronic design browser. Via the browser, users are able to correlate boundary scan test information and design data, such as schematics and layouts. The software combo is designed to eliminate the need for expensive or complex EDA systems outside of the design department. ScanWorks with InterComm is available and distributed with ScanWorks version 3.0.1. Single-copy price for InterComm only is $5,000.
