Brushless DC Blower Cuts Noise, Saves Space

Sept. 1, 2002

A compact 24V brushless DC blower uses just two input wires because the drive and commutation electronics are embedded in the design. The compact 2.9'' diameter, 2.8'' long blower can produce 10'' of water pressure (24.9 mBar) and develops an air-flow rate of 18 cfm or 8.2 lps. The impeller and rotor are balanced to provide a vibration-free, low noise unit. The design offers a space-efficient, cost-effective choice in applications in which noise and longevity are considerations. Windings for other voltages are available.
