Bus Drivers Meet Intel PC100 Standard

Sept. 1, 1998

Providing all the control and address signals needed to manage the SDRAMs on DIMMs, the 18-bit P174ALVC16835 and P174ALVC162835 Universal Bus Drivers along with a clock driver are designed to drive heavy capacitive SDRAM loads ranging from nine SDRAMs to as many as 36 on a single DIMM. In addition to the 18-bit version, 16-bit ALVC16334/162334 and 20-bit 16836/162836 Universal Bus Drivers also are available. The devices do not have the bus hold function that introduces unwanted latency on the memory bus that can slow down system performance.
