CCD Processors Fit Many Image Systems

Dec. 1, 1999

True 14-bit, 3-channel linear CCD signal processors designed for flatbed and sheet-fed scanners, multi-function peripherals and imaging systems, the WM8191 and WM8190 make the transition from 12-bit to 14-bit output simple and cost-effective. The devices offer a combination of 14-bit high resolution, DNL typically 0.65LSB for high linearity, very low power of 250 mW and speed up to 6 MSPS. The WM8191 outputs in a 14-bit parallel and various multiplexed formats in a 48-pin TQFP. The WM8190 outputs in various multiplexed formats in a 28-pin SOIC.
