Collaborative App Links Verilog/VHDL Design Teams

Sept. 1, 2000

The company's nEwhere is an on-line conferencing system for sharing Verilog and VHDL design information in real time over intranet and Internet connections. The system allows remote users to view and interact with a session on a host computer located anywhere in the world.
Design data and tools reside on single host and remote users can join or leave a conference at any time. The host can set a password to govern access to the meeting. Remote users can take control of a tool to execute any command and all participants see every on-screen action.
The software is distributed as free, open-source software covered by the GNU general public license with the company's Debussy, knowledge-based debugging system. The software is available to others for a fee of $1,000 that includes initial support.
