Color-Coded Wire Nuts Designed To Avoid Confusion

May 1, 2001

A new line of wire nut connectors is color-coded by wire size range for easy identification. The nuts feature a durable polypropylene shell with a no-slip spring insert that threads the wires after they are inserted to create a secure connection. They require no pre-twisting, have a wide opening to simplify assembly, and outside vertical ridges to provide a sure finger-grip. Suitable for making fast and secure connections with solid and stranded electrical wires in a variety of environments, they are unaffected by gasolines, oils, alkalines, and acids. Wing wire nuts are also offered where a more aggressive finger-grip is desired. Pricing is from $0.025 to $0.165 each.
