Connectors Lock To Prevent Accidental Unmating

Designed to replace traditional snap-on coaxial connectors in high-density applications, these 75 ohm matched-impedance coaxial connectors with positive-locking mating action can prevent accidental umating during work in cramped, crowded connector bays. A spring-loaded sleeve over the mating end must be retracted to mate or unmate the connectors. When the connectors are mated and the sleeve released, a detent in the sleeve prevents the plug's spring fingers from spreading to prevent accidental unmating. The connectors can provide the same security as screw-on mating without the extra space and inconvenience of screw-ons. The plugs are compatible with crimp-type attachment for a variety of RG and M17 flexible coaxial cables.
