Connectors Provide Panel Interface

May 1, 2000

Providing access to processors, electrical panels and powered-up operating systems without opening control cabinets, Panel Interface Connectors are designed to improve worker safety. Along with safety, the connectors prevent dust, dirt and liquids from entering the system and causing damage. The connectors are NEMA 4 and IP rated and UL and C-UL recognized. Duplex units typically have a 3A reset wired in series to limit the use of duplex to programming and eliminate high amperage devices that can blow fuses inside the panel. Standard connectors include 9-, 15-, 25-, 37-pin or high-density 15-pin D-subminiature and coaxial styles. The connectors are available with duplex outlet or with a variety of other connector options for easy and convenient access.
