Heatsinks Tout High Fin Density

June 1, 2000

Offering a wide range of cooling powers for a variety of devices, the HT series heatsinks feature an extremely high fin density. A folded-fin heat sink delivers, what is claimed to a record in fin density, 20 fins per inch and measures 3" x 5" x 1". Targeting high airflow applications, the fin and base-plate can be made of aluminum or copper to fit the user’s application. Also available is a machined heat sink that provides 10 fins per inch. This device measures from 1" x 1" x 0.5" up to 3" x 7" x 2" and features a unique gang-saw technique. Both tooling and lead times are said to be short, with production orders filled in up to five weeks.
