High-Density SCSI Terminator Can Replace Cable Assemblies

Aug. 1, 1998

A low-profile, high-density terminator for internal wide-SCSI applications gives designers a reliable means of terminating systems with limited space available. The DM2500-02-68R terminator is a direct replacement for an entire cable assembly. Previously, termination was accomplished with an assembly that consisted of: a 68-position, high-density male IDC; 3" of 0.025"-pitch flat ribbon cable; and an IDC version of a terminator. The DM2500-02-68R reduces costs, improves reliability and shrinks the size of the entire package. Terminators are available in SCSI II, III, active, narrow and wide standards.
