Li-Ion Batteries Triple The Power

product pic

Claiming power levels three times that of nickel-cadmium cells, the company's new line of polymer, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are available in 12 different size types. The cells measure just 3 mm thick and use a gel polymer instead of a liquid to trap electrolytes in a non-woven fabric. They are made up of LiCoO2 as a cathode electrode, graphite as an anode electrode, gel polymer as the electrolyte, and aluminum-laminated film as the outer casing.
