The SLX-2043, a low-noise amplifier (LNA) module, is designed for base-station applications from 1.7 GHz to 2.5 GHz, covering 2G/3G wireless and unlicensed ISM frequencies. The module simultaneously has a typical noise figure of 1.1 dB and a typical output intercept of 34 dBm. With 15 dB of gain, the module also reaches an input intercept of 19 dBm. Input and output matching requires no external components and operation is from a single 4V supply, dissipating under 0.5W. The amplifier comes in a surface-mount, ceramic module package that measures just 7 mm x 10 mm. For pricing and details, contact STANFORD MICRODEVICES INC., Sunnyvale, CA. (408) 616-5464.
