The DR332-1 and DR332-2 series of small-footprint chokes reduce a wide frequency range of unwanted radiated and common-mode conducted emissions on balanced, twisted-pair lines while passing desired differential-mode dc currents and signals. Inductance values ranging from 5 µH to 4.7 mH, identified by environmentally friendly laser marking, provide a frequency range of more than 100 MHz. The current range is 2.5 to 0.2 A. Operating temperature range is ?40°C to 85°C, with a storage temperature range of ?40°C to 125°C. The RoHS-compliant DR332 devices feature a small footprint: 9.15 by 6.0 mm. The DR332-1 is 5.2 mm high and the DR332-2 is 4.8 mm high. Typical applications include modems, instrumentation, telephone switching equipment, and other data-line systems in high-noise environments. The surface-mount devices are compatible with high-speed assembly equipment and high-temperature soldering. DR332-1 pricing starts at $0.26 each and the DR332-2 at $0.21 each in typical production quantities. Lead time is from stock to six weeks. DATATRONIC DISTRIBUTION INC., Romoland, CA. (915) 928-7700.
