NTC Thermistors Cover Wide Temperature Range

Designers can replace conventional ceramic leaded Negative Temperature Coefficients (NTC) with a the miniaturized 0603 series of surface-mount thermistors for temperature sensing and compensation applications. The new series, which has all the advantages of conventional ceramic-leaded NTCs, covers a wide temperature range. The series is available with tolerances up to 3% on resistance values at 25°C and up to 1% tolerance on B25/85 values. Resistance values of 4.7 kiloohms, 10 kiloohms, 47 kiloohms, 68 kiloohms, and 100 kiloohms are available for shipment within five weeks. Main application areas are battery packs and temperature compensation of LCDs and TCXOs.
