NTC Thermistors Take Accuracy, Sensitivity To New Levels

74525-AHoofddorp, Netherlands: Murata’s radial-leaded, negative-temperature-coefficient (NTC) thermistors, dubbed the NXRT series, feature nominal resistance accuracy ranging from ±1 % to 5%. Measurement sensitivity is +50°C, while the temperature detection sensitivity deviation comes within ±0.6°C, and within ±1.4°C at 100°C.

The series features nominal resistance values of 2, 10, 33, 47, and 100kΩ at 25°C. Operating temperature ranges from -40 to +125°C. Packages measure 4.0 by 2.0 by 40mm, including the 0.4mm-diameter radial leads.

The NXRT series will find homes in applications that demand accurate temperature detection, which covers a wide range of consumer electronics and domestic electrical appliances. The thermistor is particularly suited to temperature measurement of a power-supply circuit or battery.
