Online Tool Creates Power Prototypes In Minutes
The result of a joint effort with Transim Technology, the MPSim online design and support environment helps users to evaluate the performance of the company’s ICs and generate ready to build bill-of-materials for power-management applications. The tool aids in selecting and configuring dc/dc converter chips and, allegedly, within minutes users can create custom schematics, correctly compensated and ready to build. It allows instantaneous verification of designs using remote simulation capabilities via WebSIM and generates a comprehensive design report with a push of a button. Additionally, WebSIM features a variety of special simulation engines for power electronics, analog/mixed signal, RF and microwaves, signal integrity, and thermal problems.
