µP Supervisory Circuits Integrate 16 Kb EEPROM

Dec. 1, 2001

The CAT116x family of microprocessor supervisory circuits consists of three members, each of which includes an integrated, 16 Kb EEPROM. The family features versions with dual-polarity reset outputs, manual-reset capability, and watchdog timers. Five reset voltage threshold options support 5V, 3.3V and 3V powered systems. The integrated EEPROM uses an I2C interface and includes hardware-write protection. The CAT1161 and CAT1163 with watchdog timers are priced at $0.45 each/10,000 and the CAT1162 without watchdog capability costs $0.43 each/10,000. CATALYST SEMICONDUCTOR, INC., Sunnyvale, CA.
