The ALS300-MODIO host-based modem drivers provide an integrated audio solution that supports SoundBlaster and SoundBlaster Pro/16 and Direct Sound applications. The 56K modem solution also supports the standard modem, FAX and telephony interfaces (TAPI, AT commands) and will run all communications applications that adhere to these standards. The soft modem features PCI 2.1 compliant bus master, Wavetable and 3D sound, CD-quality audio, full software upgradability, plug-and-play, Group 3 FAX, and power management. It also supports K56Flex and V.90 modem standards for fast Internet access.
